You might have wondered by now if Tenwyg is my actual name, and I'm here to relieve your fears for humanity: it's not. It is my pseudonym, and I'll keep it a little longer thank you. I want to keep my real name pretty inconspicuous if I can, plus Tenwyg is more interesting anyway, right?
I'm in high school in a happy little Chicago suburb that makes fun of itself for being so nice and tame and religious but is actually raising a generation of different ways of thinking tempered by a sense of manners. I'm actually a fan of it. A school full of nice, overachieving, nerdy, passionate, compassionate people? What's wrong with that? The moment the world decided that being nice must mean we are fake is the moment I go to battle.
I enjoy writing; rather, I have worlds I want to explore and there is no other way there, not if the book hasn't been written yet, or the video game programmed yet, or the show produced yet. I play soccer, but maybe not for much longer because my body keeps falling apart. *sigh* I play the Clarinet, though I don't practice nearly as much as I should. I draw things, cartoon style, but I'm only decent. I'm getting better though! I am part of Speech Team at my school, if I have time next year, so I do like giving speeches, though I can't imagine why.
This website is really my fault, so if you just invested some of your time looking through it and found it severely lacking, you can blame me. I'm not apologizing, but you can blame me. A final activity I find joy in is world building, and since this world has been sitting around, not fully fleshed out, I want to fix that. I mean, if you find a treasure chest, you don't just walk by it, do you? There's wealth to be spread!
If you're like me, and you like playing in other worlds, you can play here. I don't mind playmates, the only things I mind are people who think they are too good to love things. Apathy leads in only one direction, and it's not towards people. It's towards some glowy-looking clouds of a paradise off in the distance: they glitter not with gold but with lightning. And when you reach the storm, there will be no one there to hold out an umbrella.
Will insist on using her pseudonym as a snuggie and also a blanket to hide under. She is a writer (still a student though) and does the poetry and novel thing. Like her cousins, she savors her heritage and wishes to preserve the knowledge passed down through her family about Tolendria and the lives of the people who lived there. She also maintains a sparkling reputation of cheesy-ness.
